It's been a very long long time since I've logged. I don't know if I'd be able to get back in the habit. And coming to xanga makes me sad, because they shut down my hubby's site. He had his birthday listed in 2000, and about six months back his site just disappeared. We emailed to explain the horrible misunderstanding, but it did no good. All those wonderful entries are gone forever.

R.I.P. IwishIweredumb. I will miss you.

Today has been interesting and it's only half over.

I cut my finger while trying to trim the fat off a pork roast and almost passed out. My phone reception is bizarrely poor, so it took me five minutes to get through to Tim.

And I meet my first client this afternoon. I'm nervous.

I can't type very well at the moment, so this is all for now.

Well, good news. I have a job offer! It's for a T.S.S. position with PA Counseling for slightly more money than I expected. I would be perfectly happy with this job. There are a few other job offers that might be coming, but they are far away. Long story short: no stressing about jobs over the holidays. God takes care of his little ones.

In other news, it seems I have graduated magna cum laude. Technically the grades aren't in until Wednesday night. I have this horrible feeling that I will have missed something I was supposed to do and that I won't get my degree, but that is probably irrational. I will have my diploma for a BA in psychology in a few weeks.

Oh, and Tim and I got a new computer. The old one died all of a sudden and this one was a very very good deal. God has blessed me with a frugal, wise husband. And he has blessed us to be able to afford these things so far.

God has blessed us a lot. Merry Christmas, everyone.

Every year I have a favorite Christmas song. Sure there are those that transcend the year and remain all time favorites, but usually I have some sort of Christmas theme each year. Last year was "Baby it's Cold Outside." The year before that was "Merry Christmas Darling," and I think one year was the Carpenter's "Christmas Waltz." This year is "Santa Baby" but I'm having a terrible time learning the lyrics.

Santa baby, slip a sable under the tree, for me
I've been an awful good girl
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight

Santa baby, an out-of-space convertible too, light blue
I'll wait up for you dear
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight

Think of all the fun I've missed
Think of all the fellas that I haven't kissed
Next year I could be oh so good
If you'd check off my Christmas list
Boo doo bee doo

Santa honey, I wanna yacht and really that's
Not a lot
I've been an angel all year
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight

Santa cutie, there's one thing I really do need, the deed
To a platinum mine
Santa cutie, and hurry down the chimney tonight

Santa baby, I'm filling my stocking with a duplex, and checks
Sign your 'X' on the line
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight

Come and trim my Christmas tree
With some decorations bought at Tiffany's
I really do believe in you
Let's see if you believe in me
Boo doo bee doo

Santa baby, forgot to mention one little thing, a ring
I don't mean a phone
Santa baby, and hurry down the chimney tonight

Hurry down the chimney tonight
Hurry down the chimney tonight

Confession: "Christmas Shoes" often makes me cry.

Interview number four was five minutes long, and I basically have the job. Unfortunately it's a very low paying job (less than I make now) with hours I don't want.

Interview number five is next Tuesday afternoon. The job description sounds promising, but it's over an hour drive. We'll see what God wants.
